Classification of dangerous goods

Division of the international maritime code for dangerous goods:

The first type of explosive

1.1 articles or substances that pose a general risk of explosion

Example: shells, fireworks shells

Item 1.2 articles or substances that are at risk of ejection but not of mass explosion

Item 1.3 articles or substances that have a fire risk, a lesser explosion risk, and/or a lesser projection risk, but not a mass explosion risk

Shipping company transportation category selection

Shipping companies of class 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 can undertake basically.

1 kind basically do not connect, 2 kind a few shipping company undertakes.

The shipping companies in category 5.1 have strict control, while the shipping companies in category 5.2 /7 basically do not connect.

Basic operation procedure of dangerous goods

1. Shipping company booking: two certificates and dangerous goods application form are required.

2. Maritime declaration: two certificates are required. After declaration, the Marine department issues the declaration of fitness for shipment of dangerous goods.

3. Port declaration: the declaration of fitness for transport of dangerous goods shall be provided. After the declaration, the wharf shall issue the approval form of dangerous goods wharf operation and the acceptance form of dangerous goods warehousing.

4. Pictures of packing and video should be taken for goods packing, and the certificate of dangerous goods container supervisor should be provided.

5. Packing and reloading, dangerous goods warehouse delivery, customs declaration and release.

6. Make IMO forms for shipping companies.
